Good Friday was founded on the idea that judgment and pressure are everywhere. At work. Online. At school. In church. The table next to you at brunch. Who you date. How you dance. How much makeup you wear (or don't wear)—watchful eyes everywhere. And quite frankly, it's exhausting trying to fit and fold yourself into everyone else's expectations.
But here's the secret no one tells you—the world is just full of sinners judging other sinners for sinning differently. People pretend to lead perfect lives, as perfect people, but if you ask us you're not living if you're not the sinner in someone's story.
So stay in. Go out. Make the plans. Cancel them. Text your ex. Delete their number. Dance on the table. Leave without saying goodbye. Say no instead of yes. Say yes instead of no. Post the photo. Wear the outfit that makes heads turn. Change your mind. Take up space. Order another round. Take the risk. Go home early. Be “too much.” Want something different. Choose yourself.
We'll always be here to help you wash away your sins... or commit new ones.
